S¥icide B+mbing in Borno Kills at Least 10, Inj¥res Several

A s¥icide b+mbing at a restaurant in Borno State has left at least 10 people d+ad and several others inj¥red, police confirmed on Saturday.

The expl+sion occurred late Friday in the Konduga area, according to police spokesperson Nahum Daso, who spoke to The Associated Press.

Although no group has claimed responsibility for the att+ck, the region has long been a target of insurgent v+olence carried out by Boko Haram and its offshoot, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).

Authorities are investigating the incident as security forces work to prevent further att+cks in the region, which has s¥ffered more than a decade of extremist v+olence.
