President Trump Announces Ceasefire Deal Between Israel and Iran, Declares End to 12-Day W@r

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran, officially bringing an end to what he termed the “12-Day W@r.”

The announcement was made Monday evening via the official White House X account, referencing a statement from the President that outlined the timeline and terms of the ceasefire.

According to Trump, the agreement will take effect in phases. Iran will commence the ceasefire, followed 12 hours later by Israel. Once both countries have observed the ceasefire for 24 hours, the w@r will be considered officially over.

“Congratulations to everyone!” Trump wrote. “It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a complete and total ceasefire (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in-progress, final missions!) for 12 hours, at which point the W@r will be considered ended.”

He added that each side is expected to remain peaceful and respectful during the ceasefire window.

Trump commended both nations for their “stamina, courage, and intelligence,” stating that the conflict had the potential to escalate into a much longer and broader regional w@r. He described the truce as a diplomatic breakthrough and a major step toward peace in the Middle East.
