“Stop Comparing Your Husbands To Social Media Husbands” — Skitmaker Maraji Informs Married Ladies

Popular Nigerian skitmaker and content creator, Gloria Olorunto a.k.a. Maraji, has shared a candid reflection about marriage, advising women to avoid comparing their partners with men they see on social media.

Speaking in a recent video, the mother of two revealed that earlier in her marriage she used to feel bad whenever she saw men openly showering praises and compliments on their wives online.

According to her, the comparisons left her questioning why her husband didn’t “pop his love” for her in that same way, despite her not even being someone who craves compliments in real life.

Maraji stressed that “men are not the same”, noting that every relationship is unique. She added that while some husbands show love by writing sweet posts or buying gifts, others demonstrate it through s@crifice, support, and care.

Sharing her personal experience, she said her husband goes above and beyond to make life stress-free for her — taking on childcare duties and encouraging her to pursue her passions like vlogging and cooking from scratch.

In her words:

“You can’t say that I’m a mum or the best child, but my husband loves me to de@th. He doesn’t allow anything to stress me. He takes care of the kids 90% of the time so that I can do what I love.”
