 Nigeria’s History Would Be Incomplete If I Lost 2023 Election — President Tinubu.

President Bola Tinubu has said that Nigeria’s history would not be complete had he lost the 2023 presidential election. Speaking on Sunday at the 8th Day Fidau prayers for the late Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Tinubu paid glowing tribute to the late monarch for his support and role in his political journey.

“Our national history would have been incomplete—carefully and richly if I had failed in the last election,” Tinubu said. He recalled receiving blessings from the Awujale before the election, quoting the monarch as saying: “You will win that election, and you will win one more time. Go ahead.” 

The president described the late Oba Adetona as a man of wisdom, courage, and unwavering support for democracy and the June 12 struggle.
