Governor Adeleke hopes you are not protecting a Convicted Fraudster as Apetu of Ipetumodu?
For over seven months, His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke has refused to declare the Apetu stool vacant despite Oba Joseph Oloyede’s conviction and 56-month jail term in the United States for $4.2 million COVID-19 fraud.
While Ipetumodu bleeds from a leadership vacuum, the ruling houses and kingmakers have begged, submitted the US court judgment, and even given a 7-day ultimatum. The governor’s response? Total silence and deliberate delay.
This is not neutrality it is protection. It is now looking Like The governor is keeping the stool warm for a convicted Oba so he can be smuggled back as Oba after prison. Which we dont want to believe. Anyway, enough is enough!
We demand immediate action:
- Declare the Apetu stool vacant NOW
- Depose Oba Joseph Oloyede
- Commence fresh selection from the rightful ruling houses
Ipetumodu deserves a credible, resident king not a placeholder for an American jailbird. Governor Adeleke, don't shield crime and start serving the people!
