In a refreshingly candid moment, Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Burna Boy has revealed that despite his global fame and jet-setting lifestyle, he has never actually been on vacation.

The “Last Last” crooner made the surprising confession during a recent sit-down, where the conversation took an unexpectedly personal turn.

“You’ve just kept going. You’ve kept going,” the interviewer remarked, to which Burna Boy responded simply, “Look, I have to.”

When asked what “resting Burna Boy” even looks like, the African Giant admitted, “Nah, I don’t know, you know. I’ve never been on a vacation.”

The interviewer, stunned, replied, “I’ve never seen Burna Boy on a beach just with his toes… I want to see your toes, bro. Not like that—it sounds m@d, but…”

Laughing it off, Burna Boy assured with a smile, “No, my toes are nice, you know.”

Still, fans may find it hard to believe they’ve never seen the singer strolling barefoot on a white sand beach somewhere in the world. Burna clarified, “Only in Lagos, only when I’m back home, you know…”

He then recalled one trip: “I went to Jamaica once.”

But for Burna, Jamaica is also home, spiritually and musically. “That’s home to me too. So I can’t really count that.”
